This is a personal recipe site. There are no ads, no analytics, and no third-party tracking.

What's stored on your device

Your preferences (basket, unit conversions, "what I have", filters, and location) are saved locally in your browser (localStorage). They are never sent to a server, and you can remove them by clearing site data in your browser.

Cookies

Only functional session cookies are used (necessary for basic operation and security). No advertising or tracking cookies are used.

Maps & third parties

When you view a map, third-party resources load: CARTO map tiles and the Leaflet library (from a CDN). These providers may log the request under their own policies.

Location (optional)

Location detection is optional and only runs when you request it. It may use your browser's geolocation or, failing that, your IP address via a third-party service (ipapi.co), plus a reverse lookup to show your area. Your location is stored only on your device and is not kept on any server.

Contact form

If you submit the contact form, your message is stored in the site's database and emailed to the site owner so it can be read and answered. Your name and email are stored too if you provide them, and your IP address is recorded for security. This data is used only to handle your message; it is not shared with third parties or used for anything else. You can request its deletion at any time.
